Interesting and rare banknote from the Second World War period (1939-1945) with a sailing ship on the Obv. and portrait of van Riebeeck from the Netherlands in watermark. Attractive condition with signature of Dr J. Postmus of a large denomination in circulation. This banknote has date 19 April 1943, representing the only year of emission, though not the only date.
