Interesting and rare type with a cross from Celtic pre-norse carving (now in the Manx Museum) in attractive condition struck by Pobjoy mint. This cross (VIII c.) shows Christ dressed in an elaborate robe with a roundel of knotwork over his chest, representing the heart as the spiritual center. for Christianity roots lay in Eastern believes the whole concept is a cultural borrowing of description of total solar aclipce, during which the main god dies and than reincarnate. For the main god represents the Sun, the rays on the coin around his image are additional indication of the solar origin of the Christianity's concept.
