Ecken und Kanten sind etwas bestoßen, beide Rücken tragen ein altes Inventur-Etikett. 697 (1) / 736 Seiten mit zahlreichen Textfiguren und weiteren einfarbigen Abbildungen. Dreisprachiges Vorwort und Inhaltsverzeichnis, die Textbeiträge in englisch, deutsch bzw. französisch, jeweils mit Zusammenfassungen in allen drei Sprachen. Inhaltsverzeichnis bzw. Titelei mit einigen alten Wiener Instituts-Stempeln, in Band 2 sind Seitenschnitt und erste Seiten etwas angeschmutzt, hinteres fliegendes Blatt fehlt. Insgesamt in gutem Zustand. -- Two contemporary dark blue linen volumes with gold-embossed cover titles. Corners and edges are slightly bumped, both spines have an old inventory label. 697 (1) / 736 pages with numerous text figures and other monochrome illustrations. Trilingual foreword and table of contents, the text contributions in English, German and French respectively, each with summaries in all three languages. Table of contents and title page with some old Vienna Institute stamps, in volume 2 the page edges and first pages are slightly soiled, the flyleaf at the back is missing. Overall in good condition. -- Deux volumes d'époque en lin bleu foncé avec titres de couverture en relief doré. Coins et tranches légèrement émoussés, les deux dos portent une ancienne étiquette d'inventaire. 697 (1) / 736 pages avec de nombreuses figures de texte et autres illustrations monochromes. Avant-propos et table des matières trilingues, les contributions textuelles en anglais, allemand et français, chacune avec des résumés dans les trois langues. Table des matières ou page de titre avec quelques cachets anciens de l'Institut de Vienne, dans le tome 2 la page coupée et les premières pages sont quelque peu salies, le feuillet arrière manque.
