Interesting large coin struck in Strasbourg in collectible condition. The coin represents emission of the First Republic under Executive Directory rule (4 Brumaire IV year - 18 Brumaire VIII year) with the decimal reform in all aspects of life, including calendar. That is why the date is on the new Era of the Republic. Finally it occurred to be not practical and the Gregorian calendar was restored.
It is a great honor to present this discovery coin.
Obverse: no accent on the E in REPUBLIQUE.
Reverse: 7/5, BB/A, without full stop after CENTIMES.
Till now there were known coins with 7/5, BB/A but with full stop after CENTIMES and with accent on the E in REPUBLIQUE (see for example https://www.collection-ideale-cgb.net/images/ideal/f115_043_48.jpg).
