Interesting silver medal issued to commemorate the first joint flight of the spaceships from the USSR and the USA. It was completely incredible event for common peoples, for these country used to show opposition to each other. Most of the medals bears on the Rev. mintmark FM for Franklin mint. This medals is completely opposite: there is no mint mark at all. Though on its edge is reeded with a plain segment. Here in the plain part there are 4 marks , from left to right: long diamond with L M, circle with C, quadrangular shape with 75, quadrangular shape with P, far aside Mercury head in oval. The last mark is for 0.800 fineness produced for export by France, as far as it is known to the seller. If you have additional information about the issue, please contact.
