Interesting type with allegory of Liberty in nice condition! It is one of the longest emission in the modern world. Recently three main groups of emission were found produced by two Obv. and two Rev. dies.


Obverse

Die 1 from model 1879 - large central dots in decorations, nostril with a curved back line, half of left pearl in diadem hidden behind hair.

Die 2 - small central dots in decorations, thin nostril, left pearl in diadem far from hair.


Reverse

Die A from model 1879 - all details thick, top of the tail of 2 wide.

Die B - reengraved, all details thinner and further from each other, midribs of each leaf well defined, top of the tail of 2 sharp.
