Interesting type with two carved patu (Maori weapons) on Rev. and with strap on shoulder on Obv. Due to adding this strap the impression of the nudity of Her Majesty on the first issues (1953-1956) was overcome. There were 2 main varieties in 1957: with 87 and 86 beads on Obv. It is easy to distinguish between them by cross: it is to bead on 87 beads die and between bead on the 86 beads die. This coin is of variety 87 beads. Nice coin in attractive condition with beautiful die crack over LA to ZEALAND on Rev.
