With a handwritten dedication by Shojiro Ishibashi (1889-1976), who was a Japanese businessman who founded the Bridgestone Corporation, the world`s largest maker of tires in 1931 in the city of Kurume, Fukuoka, Japan. He founded Ishibashi Cultural Center and the Bridgestone Museum of Art and was a major benefactor of the Tokyo National Museum of Modern Art, having also constructed the building in which it is housed. - The catalogue lists 64 European and 55 Japanese art objects. - Cover somewhat dusty, spine pasted over with a slim transparent foil-strip, edges minimally bumped, front and end papers a bit foxing, else a fine copy.
