INTERESTING TYPE from Kameido village struck on the 8 year of Kanbun period (寛文, "寛" on obverse and "文" on reverse). The coin was struck from metal of Daibutsu (the great image of Buddha), which was destroyed by earthquake in 1662. That metal contains some proportion of gold.

Though the variety with narrow lines (thin script) is catalogized, this coin has additional stroke in field to the right of 'bun' on reverse. The collection of British museum has similar with long diagonal line (442) and fingernail mark though under the hole (459).
