Interesting coin of the largest face value in circulation with Czech lion facing left with Slovak shield within polygon socialist shield in nice condition of the united country from the period of the largest impact on human culture and progress of the territory in its whole history. Recently the main dies were discovered and classification of the emission 1966-1990 was developed.


Obverse

Die I - lion mane consists of long wavy lines, curved tongue..

Die II - at right side lion mane looks like chevrons, straight tongue.



In 1974 three types of Obv.I are known:

Die I.1 - horizontal bar of "4" tilted.

Die I.2 - horizontal bar of "4" is horizontal, not tilted, left top stroke higher than the right one.

Die I.3 - horizontal bar of "4" is horizontal, not tilted, top strokes on the same level.



This coin was struck by die I.2.
