Interesting the early type 1953-1958 with Czech lion bearing Slovak shield of the united country. Recently with the help of this coin the main dies were discovered and classification of the emission 1953-1971 was developed.


Obverse

Die I - details closer to center, tall "5" and second "S" in ČESKOSLOVENSKÁ with sharp top serifs, tuft of fur on photo points to "V".

Die II - details far from center, wide "5" and second "S" in ČESKOSLOVENSKÁ with blunt top serifs, tuft of fur on photo points to "O".



Reverse

Die A - wide script, "1" with long nose, narrow leaf to the left of bottom "1".

Die B - wide script, "1" with long nose, wide leaf to the left of bottom "1", short outer leaves to the right of conjunction.

Die C - narrow script, "1" with short nose, wide leaf to the left of bottom "1", long outer leaves to the right of conjunction.



This coin was struck by dies II+B in Kremnica. For high interest of collectors to the emission the basic classification was proposed to be published in the article N№2017 en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces2017.html of Numista catalog with the images of this very coin.
