The first type of large zloty from the flourishing period of the country with the new long legend on Obv: after the first issue in 1949 the name of the territory started to consist of 3 words. Type with beautiful decorated by five-rays stars wings of large eagle and large date. Recently main types of the emission were discovered and basic classification was introduced.


Obverse

Die 1 - the tufts of feathers on the top of eagle's head in one line, fine script, T far from A to RZECZPOSPOLITA.

Die 2 - the tufts of feathers on the top of eagle's head in two lines, bold script, T near A to RZECZPOSPOLITA.



Reverse

Die A 1949 - small arcs of rim decoration, fine script, symmetric narrow leaves.

Die B 1975 - large arcs of rim decoration, bold script, wider leaves, some of them asymmetric.


Due to the discovery this coin is attributed as struck with dies 1+A. The discovery was published in the Numista catalog en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces2065.html to introduce the classification of the emission. The year 1967 is the rarest in the whole emission.
