Life and work of Prince Zivojin Misic

Zivojin Mišić (Struganik near Mionica, July 19, 1855 - Belgrade, January 20, 1921) was born the thirteenth child in the family of Radovan and Angelija Mišić. He began his education in Rybnita, continued it in Kragujevac, and then in Belgrade, where in 1874 he was admitted to the 11th grade of the Artillery School (Military Academy). After two years of training, he gained his first military experience as a cadet sergeant, later lieutenant, in the Serbian-Turkish wars
