Interesting early issue with Lincoln (1809-1865) and Lincoln Memorial in attractive condition with some luster. The 1973D were struck in Denver. The type was started in 1959 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the president. The Obv. was struck by original die with strengthened ERTY of LIBERTY (in use in 1973 only). The Rev. was struck by original die with huge initials FG to the right of memorial (in use in 1973 only).
