This coin was issued on occasion of 200th anniversary of the birth of Mathematician N.I. Lobachevsky. It is of interesting type in PROOF condition. Lobachevsky is credited as the founder of the non-Euclidean geometry. His type of geometry was used to describe the Universe in Einstein's theory of gravitation. The coin was issued during the decay of the large country, when locals were more interested in surviving rather than in collecting and as the result has extra popularity among collectors nowadays.
