Interesting set of coins in nice condition. It is the first euro-issue of the legendary La Semeuse sowing seeds - the symbol of Republic. The issue with reproduction of image, created by Roty, became the prominent example of illiteracy of the artist - no sower in the world seeds against wind. The reproduction made by Laurent Jorio keeps this absurd of Roty's fantasy.

The set consists of two types of engraver general's mark known in 1999. That year the mark bee was for Pierre Rodier (1994-2000).

On the left coin the mark bee is closer to the star under it. On the right coin this mark is moved essentially to the right and was put higher.
