Interesting small type with portrait of Bernardo O'Higgins (1778-1842) right in attractive condition. Recently the main types of the emission were discovered and basic classification was introduced.

Die 1 - wide epaulette, convex medals, signature FR. Thenot under the sash of the Legion of Merit of Chile.

Die 2 - R very close to epaulette, no signature under the sash.

Die 3 - wide epaulette, medals almost incused, script bold, signature under the sash.

Die 4 - wide epaulette, convex medals, script bold, signature under the sash.

Die 5 - small portrait, narrow epaulette and the sash, medals stylized, no signature under the sash.

Die 6 - small portrait, narrow epaulette and the sash, medals stylized, no signature under the sash, toll script to LIBERTADOR B.O'HIGGINS.


Reverse

Die A - date vertically aligned.

Die B - date lower.

Die C - squat script to PESOS and date.

Die D - date higher.

Die E- date higher, PESOS bold.

Die F - date lower, PESOS bold.
