Interesting large size local issue of Altrahlstedt Province Schleswig-Holstein in superb condition. The banknote depicts a family petting a child next to grazing horse surrounding by 6 playing winged children as allegory of peace in the future. The banknote got an overprint on previous emission without date. The overprint states the issue 15 October 1922 and the duration of circulation: till 15 December 1922. The overprint bears a signature in the top right corner.
