Interesting large silver coin in magnificent condition. This is the classic Maria Theresia posthumous issue struck in Vienna during the Second World war and later. The size of the coin is more than 40 mm which distinguish it from the late coinage with similar dies in 1960-1986, The Rev. has center shield empty, that is without two dot, which appeared on the coins later. The issue for its well attribution and lovely condition is pretty uncommon. The thaler played the key role in the world history, circulating till now in many continents.
