Interesting and in many aspects mysterious medal dedicated to assassinations of Kennedys. John Kennedy (1917 - 1963) was assassinated being the President of the United States of America, his brother Robert Kennedy (1925 - 1968) was assassinated during a presidential campaign. The Obv. shows joined portraits of brothers left. The reverse has symbols of the USA: the eagle with shield and unofficial state motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM". The plot with eagle breaking chain does not look to be approved by the US officials, for the country became free in 1776 once and forever. Though the medal shows proof finish, quality of its work is not on standard level. Direct measurements of mass and volume of this item suggests density of 6.8 g/cm3, which is very small in comparison with copper even. In most cases the item is on preposition in Europe as silver, which is far from true: it has silver covering, but this film is not enough to rise density closer to 10.5 g/cm3.
Presumably the medal commemorates assassinations of two prominent politicians in the USA, issued unofficially in Europe.
