Interesting the last pre-euro type with naval design and stained glass window in nice condition. Recently two main groups of emission with the help of this very coin were found.


Obverse

Die 1 - bottom towers in corners lower, decorations in legend outlined.

Die 2 - bottom towers in corners higher, decorations in legend without outline.


Reverse

Die A - narrow script.

Die B - bold script.

It is easy to distinguish between them by horizontal strokes in letter 'E' of ESCUDOS: they are very thin in die A and dramatically thick in die B.



This coin is attributed as 2+B. For the high interest of collectors to these types and to make the attribution of them easy it was decided to publish complete classification of them in Numista catalog en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces773.html with images of this very coin.
