Interesting type with allegory of Liberty in attractive condition! It is one of the longest emission in the modern world. Recently main groups of emission with the help of this very coin were found.


Obverse

Die 1 from model 1879 - left pearl in diadem smaller than others, thin script to LIBERTAS, "R" in LIBERTAS with long right leg.

Die 2 - left pearl in diadem same size as others, thick script to LIBERTAS, "R" in LIBERTAS with short right leg.


Reverse

Die A from model 1879 - numeral "1" thicker, midribs in oak leaves made by fine well defined lines.

Die B - numeral "1" thinner, midribs made by shallow lines.

Die C - reengraved, numeral "1" thinner, acorns with grids, midribs made by wide well defined lines
