Interesting type with Czech lion facing left with Slovak shield within polygon socialist shield in attractive condition of the united country from the period of the largest impact on human culture and progress of the territory in its whole history. Recently the main dies were discovered and classification of the emission 1972-1990 was developed.


Obverse

Die I - large coat of arms with wide Slovak shield.

Die II - small coat of arms with narrow Slovak shield, fur lines with one additional narrow line in lion mane on each side of small shield.



Reverse

Die A - end of tail in numeral "2" long.

Die B - end of tail in numeral "2" short, long serif at the bottom left to "h".



The die analysis shows that the year 1980 was transitional and both dies of Rev. were in use. This coin was struck by dies I+A.
