Interesting and the less common the last year of the emission of Emmanuel de Rohan-Polduc with his title on Obv.: F.EMMANUEL DE ROHAN M. The Rohan coat of arms is over the headless eagle with wide spread wings. The year numerals are on the sides of the Maltese cross on the Rev. Nice coin from a small country in Europe of the real coinage of the Order of Saint John. Despite of improvement made by Prince and Grand Master de Rohan, the French Revolution brought to decline of the Order. De Rogan strengthened relations with Russia, and Paul (in future the tsar Paul I) visited him as sign of respect and admiration. These orthodox relations allowed the Order survived after French invasion in Malta.
