Reportagen aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg für die Zeitschrift Life und
Aufnahmen der Nuba in Afrika bekannt. – „Seine Menschen sind wahrlich
Menschen aus Fleisch und Blut, deren Emotionen sich nicht nur in ihren
Gesichtern spiegeln, sondern in ihrem gesamten Sein. Für ihn gehört der
Mensch in den Kontext seiner Umwelt: der Blumenverkäufer am Trafalgar
Square ebenso wie der Regenmacher der Latuka. Rodger sieht die
